August 8, 2024: The Wizards signed Saddiq Bey to a three year, $20 million deal. They signed Anthony Gill to a two year minimum deal. They sign and traded for Jonas Valanciunas to three years, $30 million. They waived Landry Shamet. They declined Richaun Holmes team option and extended him to a two-year, $26 million deal. They also traded Deni Avdija to the Blazers for Malcolm Brogdon, #14, and a 2029 first-round pick.

August 8, 2024: The Jazz renegotiated and extended Lauri Markkanen to five years, $238 million. They signed Johnny Juzang to four years, $12 million. They signed Drew Eubanks to two years, $10 million. They waived Darius Bazley, Kenneth Lofton Jr., and Omer Yurtseven.
